Laying Out Your Floor

1. Start with a base layer of standard floor tiles across your chamber

2. Place hazard line tiles in strips or grids to create safety warnings and visual divisions

3. Use meshy grating blocks over drops or to create suspended platforms with visibility below

4. Add absorbable blocks in varied sizes to break up monotony and suggest wear patterns

5. Apply conversion gel splashes across sections for battle-damaged or well-used appearance

Design Tips

Mix block types strategically—solid tiles in high-traffic areas, grating over voids for dramatic effect, and hazard lines marking test zones. Broken elevator screens and rusty diamond plate blocks work well as accent flooring to suggest aged or damaged facilities. Varying block placement creates visual interest while maintaining the industrial laboratory atmosphere.
