Mine an entire ore vein without breaking your tool

Check your tool durability first

Before starting, verify your tool has enough durability. The mod includes tool break protection that stops harvesting automatically, but you can be more proactive by checking your tool's damage bar.

Adjust the durability margin in settings

Press O to open the settings menu. Look for the durability margin option—this sets how much durability the mod reserves before stopping the mining wave. Increase this value if you want a larger safety buffer, or decrease it to mine closer to the tool's limit.

Aim and preview the vein

Hold your pickaxe and aim at any ore block in the cluster. An outline preview will show all connected blocks that will break. This lets you confirm the vein size before committing.

Break the block

Swing once. The mod breaks the entire connected vein in timed waves with block sounds. If your tool doesn't have enough durability to complete the chain, the wave stops automatically—your tool stays safe.

Collect your drops

All ore blocks drop as items and float directly toward you. Fortune and Silk Touch enchantments work normally on these drops.
