Target Mobs with Flipped Arrows

While under the inverted gravity effect, shoot arrows at any mob—hostile or passive. The arrows will send them floating upward into the sky where they'll drift helplessly.

Use Potions on Mobs

Alternatively, throw splash or lingering potions of Chorus directly at mobs to apply the inverted gravity effect to them. This works on both hostile mobs like Creepers and Zombies, and passive mobs like Cows and Sheep.

Strategic Applications

Floating mobs are effectively neutralized—they can't reach you or cause damage while suspended in the air. This is useful for crowd control during combat or for separating dangerous mobs from your position. Mobs will eventually fall back down when the effect wears off, so this is a temporary solution.

Note that mobs under the effect will behave normally within their inverted gravity state, so they may still attack if they can reach you.
