Do I need to craft anything special to use these custom bed textures?

Can I see what character is on each bed color before placing it?
The resource pack assigns one character design to each of the sixteen bed colors, so you can plan your bedroom by choosing which colors to craft. Check the mod's screenshot gallery or your creative inventory to preview which character appears on each color.
Why are my bed textures showing as purple and black checkerboards?
