Troubleshoot When Your Model Doesn't Appear
Check File Organization and Naming
The most common issue is mismatched file names. Verify that your model, texture, and animation files share the exact same base name. For example, if your model is character.geo.json, your texture must be character.png and animation must be character.animation.json. Even small differences in spelling or capitalization will prevent loading.
Verify File Formats
Confirm your files are in the correct formats:
- Model files must be GeckoLib-compatible
.geo.jsonfiles - Textures must be
.pngimages - Animations must be
.animation.jsonfiles
If you're unsure whether your model is GeckoLib-compatible, check the source where you obtained it.
Reload and Make Visible
Run /morpher reload to force the mod to rescan your morpher folder. Then use /morpher <Your Name> visible true to ensure your model is set to display. If it still doesn't appear, check your chat for error messages that might indicate file corruption or format issues.
