Collect Resources from Penned Animals

Harvesting Without Release

You can gather resources directly from animals inside your pen without letting them roam free. Click on the animal model visible inside the pen block to interact with it.

Shearing and Milking

For sheep, hold shears and click the pen to collect wool. The exact color and variant of each sheep is preserved, so you'll get the correct wool color. For cows and mooshrooms, hold a bucket and click to collect milk. Armadillos can be brushed the same way to collect their drops.

Egg and Special Item Collection

Use a bucket on the pen to collect eggs from chickens, turtles, and sniffers. This is faster than waiting for eggs to drop naturally. The mod includes built-in item limits to prevent overflow—excess wool and eggs won't clutter your farm.

Advanced Harvesting

For frog pens, drop magma cubes into the pen to generate frog lights. Click the pen to collect the lights once they're produced. All harvesting happens while animals remain safely stored.
