Preparing for Temple Exploration

Essential Gear and Supplies

Before entering a jungle temple on custom terrain, prepare thoroughly:

Combat and survival:

• Sword and armor (at least iron tier)
• Bow and arrows for ranged combat
• Food for healing
• Torches for lighting dark chambers

Exploration tools:

• Pickaxe to break through blocks and access hidden areas
• Shovel for clearing debris
• Water bucket to manage lava and create safe passages
• Blocks for building bridges across gaps or climbing

Navigating Steep Terrain

Custom terrain around temples may be very steep or uneven. This affects approach routes:

1. Scout the temple's perimeter before entering. Identify safe climbing paths.

2. Bring extra blocks to create stairs or bridges up hillsides.

3. Watch for fall damage on slopes. Move carefully near edges.

4. Use water to slow descents if you slip.

The temple interior remains stable and accessible, but the surrounding landscape may be more challenging than vanilla jungle temples. Plan your approach route carefully before committing to exploration.
