Finding Jungle Temples in Custom Terrain
Locating Temples on Uneven Ground
Jungle temples now generate correctly even on steep hills and massive terrain variations. Unlike vanilla generation, they won't float, clip into mountains, or sink into valleys.
How to search effectively:
1. Travel to jungle biomes in your world. The datapack works across all jungle variants.
2. Look for stone brick structures partially embedded in hillsides or terrain slopes—they'll sit naturally in the landscape rather than hovering.
3. Use high ground or climb trees to scan the canopy. Temples are large enough to spot from elevation, especially their distinctive pyramid shape.
4. Check steep jungle valleys and ridges. Custom terrain often creates dramatic elevation changes where temples now anchor properly.
Understanding Generation
The datapack ensures temples align with your world's custom terrain height and slope. This means structures may appear deeper in the ground or higher on mountains than in vanilla worlds, but they'll always be fully accessible. No rooms will be blocked by terrain, and all treasure vaults remain reachable.
If you're playing on Big Globe terrain, expect temples to generate in more dramatic positions—embedded in jungle-covered mountains or nestled in deep tropical valleys.
