Fuel Your Machine and Survive Without Food
Understanding Machine Diet
As a machine origin, you no longer eat traditional food. Instead, you consume burnable fuel items to restore hunger and stay alive. This replaces the normal food system entirely.
How to Fuel Up
1. Gather burnable materials like wood, coal, charcoal, or other fuel blocks from your world
2. Open your inventory and consume these items as you would normal food
3. Watch your hunger bar refill as you burn fuel
4. Keep fuel stocked in your inventory at all times, especially before combat or long journeys
Fuel Management Tips
- Coal burns longer than wood, making it more efficient for extended operations
- In multiplayer, coordinate fuel gathering with your team to ensure steady supply
- Different origins may have varying fuel consumption rates—experiment to find what works best
- Store extra fuel in nearby chests during base operations
- Plan fuel stops on long expeditions, similar to how you'd plan food breaks in survival
Unlike regular food, fuel items stack normally, so you can carry large quantities without inventory management becoming difficult.
