Accessing Performance Presets

AmberVeil offers multiple quality tiers to balance visual fidelity with frame rate. Access shader settings through your shader configuration menu (typically opened with a key combination in-game or through your mod launcher's shader options).

Performance Tiers:

• Low preset: Reduces bloom intensity, shadow detail, and water reflection quality. Best for older systems or when playing with heavy mods
• Medium preset: Balanced approach with moderate bloom and shadow softness
• High preset: Full effects including detailed water reflections, enhanced bloom, and crisp shadow casting

Optimizing for Your Setup

Start with the Low preset and gradually increase quality while monitoring your frame rate. If you experience stuttering, reduce the preset level. Water reflections and bloom effects are the most performance-intensive features—disabling or lowering these individually can help if you want to keep other visual features maxed out. Test changes in different biomes, as performance varies based on terrain complexity and light sources.
