Create a Portal Using Custom Portal Builder (Optional)

Prerequisites

You'll need both the Custom Portal API and Custom Portal Builder mods installed alongside the mining dimension data pack. These mods allow you to build functional portals instead of relying solely on commands.

Adding the Portal Configuration

Locate your Custom Portal Builder config file and add this portal configuration to the ConfiguredPortals section:

Building Your Portal

Build a frame using crying obsidian blocks in your desired location. Use a diamond as the igniter item to activate the portal. The portal will display a distinctive purple-blue color (RGB: 65, 3, 252). Once activated, you can walk through to enter the mining dimension and return the same way.
