How do I get to the mining dimension for the first time?
Open your chat and type `/execute in allbiomes:d_2b2t run tp @s 0 100 0` to teleport directly into the combined mining world. You'll spawn at coordinates 0, 100, 0 in the new dimension.
Can I build a portal to the mining dimension without mods?
No, this data pack doesn't create a natural portal frame. You need to use the teleport command each time, or optionally install Custom Portal API and Custom Portal Builder mods to create a crying obsidian portal.
Why can't I find netherrack and end stone in the mining world?
The Nether and End biomes currently spawn with grass blocks instead of their native blocks, making netherrack and end stone difficult to locate. You may need to dig deeper or search in darker cave areas where these blocks are more likely to appear.
Do mobs from the Nether and End spawn in the mining dimension?
Yes, Nether mobs like ghasts and End mobs can spawn in their respective biome areas within the combined world. Bring appropriate armor and weapons when mining in those regions.
Will mining in this dimension affect my main survival world?
No, all mining and digging happens only in the separate mining dimension, so your main Overworld stays completely untouched and protected from massive mining holes.
How do I get back to my main world after mining?
Use the same teleport command `/execute in allbiomes:d_2b2t run tp @s 0 100 0` but modify the dimension name to your main world, or use `/execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s [your coordinates]` to return home.
Can I use this data pack with other dimension mods?
Yes, this data pack should work alongside other mods, but if you're using Custom Portal API for a portal, make sure those mods don't conflict with portal generation or dimension registration.
What's the best strategy for mining multiple biome types in one trip?
