How do I craft my first cushion?
Check the default crafting recipe in your server's config file (alicushions/config.yml). By default, cushions are crafted using wool and other materials arranged in a specific pattern. Once you have the ingredients, craft the cushion at a crafting table like any other item.
Can I sit on cushions I didn't place?
You can sit on any cushion, but you can only break and move cushions you placed yourself. If you want to remove someone else's cushion, ask a server admin with the alicushions.admin permission.
Do cushions disappear if I log off?
No, cushions are permanent and stay in the world forever. They won't vanish when you log off or when the server restarts.
How do I make a custom cushion design?
Drop an image file into the plugins/AliCushions/cushions/ folder on your server, then restart the server. The new design will load automatically, and you can spawn it using /alicushions give .
What image format should I use for custom cushions?
Check your server's AliCushions folder documentation for the supported image formats and size requirements. Most Minecraft texture mods support PNG files, but verify with your specific server setup.
Can I change how cushions are crafted?
Yes, edit the recipe section in your config file to use shaped or shapeless patterns with any ingredients you want. After saving, restart your server to apply the new recipe.
Why can't I break someone else's cushion?
Cushions have ownership protection—only the player who placed a cushion can break it. This prevents other players from destroying your furniture. Admins with alicushions.admin can break any cushion.
How do I give cushions to other players?
Use the command /alicushions give where is their username and is the cushion color or custom design name. You need the alicushions.give.others permission to give items to others.
Do all sixteen dye colors work by default?
Yes, all sixteen standard dye colors are included and ready to use. You can spawn them with /alicushions give or craft them if your server has crafting enabled.
Will cushions cause lag on my server?
Cushions are lightweight decorative blocks and shouldn't cause performance issues. However, placing thousands of any block type can impact performance—this is a general Minecraft limitation, not specific to this mod.
