Crafting and Using the Terra Hoe and Terra Spade

Terra Hoe

The Terra Hoe is a dedicated farming tool crafted with a crafting_shaped recipe. You need Terrasteel Ingots and a handle material. Arrange the Terrasteel in the hoe head pattern and place a stick or Livingwood Twig in the handle slot. The Terra Hoe tills soil and converts dirt into farmland faster than lower-tier hoes.

Use the Terra Hoe on grass blocks or dirt to create farmland. It also breaks leaves and other hoe-mineable blocks quickly. Repair it with Terrasteel Ingots in an anvil.

Terra Spade

The Terra Spade is a dedicated shovel crafted with a crafting_shaped recipe. Use Terrasteel Ingots in the shovel head pattern with a handle. The Terra Spade digs dirt, sand, gravel, and clay rapidly. Right-click on grass to create a path block.

Terra Tools vs AIOT

If you prefer dedicated tools, craft the Terra Hoe and Terra Spade separately. If you want one item for all tasks, craft the Terrasteel AIOT instead. The AIOT performs hoe and shovel actions alongside axe, pickaxe, and sword. Both paths use Terrasteel, so choose based on inventory preference. Repair all Terrasteel tools with Terrasteel Ingots.
