Optimize Performance on Lower-End Hardware
Reduce Shadow Quality
Open shader settings and find the Shadow or Quality section. Lower shadow resolution reduces GPU load while maintaining the shader's clean shadow aesthetic. Start by reducing shadow distance—distant shadows can be simplified without affecting nearby gameplay.
Disable or Lower Wind Effects
Locate foliage or wind settings. Disabling gentle leaf and grass movement frees up processing power. If you want to keep wind, reduce its intensity instead of removing it entirely.
Adjust Bloom Sparingly
Bloom is performance-friendly on this shader, but excessive bloom still costs frames. Keep it moderate—just enough to see the soft glow without heavy visual processing.
Monitor Frame Rate
Apply changes incrementally and check your FPS. The shader is designed for mid-range systems, so you should maintain playable framerates even with most features enabled. If performance drops, reduce shadow quality first.
