Adjust Bloom Intensity for Glowing Blocks

Access Shader Settings

Open the shader options menu by pressing Right Shift + R (or your configured key) while in-game. Look for the Bloom or Light section in the settings panel.

Fine-Tune Bloom Effect

Locate the bloom intensity slider. Lower values create subtle glows around light sources like lanterns, glowstone, and fire. Higher values make the bloom more pronounced and spread further across your screen.

Test Your Changes

Apply settings and stand near bright blocks to see the effect in real-time. Glowing blocks should emit a soft halo that feels natural rather than overwhelming. If bloom washes out nearby details, reduce the value slightly.

Save Your Preference

Once satisfied, confirm the settings. Your bloom preference will persist across sessions. You can return to adjust it anytime if you find the effect too strong in caves or too subtle in bright areas.
