Stop Wind Sounds from Overlapping During Long Flights

Understand Layered Audio

The Aero Rush Audio Mod uses layered audio loops to prevent wind sounds from stacking too loudly during extended airborne travel. This system automatically manages multiple audio clips so they blend smoothly rather than creating a chaotic wall of noise.

How It Works

When you fly for a long time, the mod cycles through different wind audio clips with pitch shifts and volume variations. This creates a natural, dynamic soundscape instead of a single looping track playing at maximum volume.

If Sounds Still Feel Too Loud

1. Open config/hear_the_wind-client.toml

2. Locate the wind loudness setting

3. Reduce the value to lower the overall volume

4. Save and restart Minecraft

5. Take another flight to test the new level

You can also adjust your in-game Master and Players volume sliders—the mod respects these settings, so lowering them will proportionally reduce wind audio without needing to edit the config file.
