Troubleshoot Keycards Not Opening Doors

Verify Reader and Receiver Connection

Check that your wireless receiver is properly linked to the keycard reader. Open the reader's interface and confirm the receiver location or ID is registered. If the link is missing, re-establish it.

Confirm Clearance Level Match

Open the keycard's properties and check its assigned clearance level. Then check the reader's settings to see what level it requires. If they don't match, the card will be rejected. Update either the card or the reader to align them.

Check Network Assignment

Ensure the keycard belongs to the same security network as the reader. A card issued for "Vault Network" won't work on readers in "Lab Network." Reissue the card to the correct network if needed.

Test the Redstone Mechanism

Place a redstone block or lever directly next to the receiver to test if the door mechanism itself works. If the door doesn't respond to manual redstone, the problem isn't the keycard system.

Verify Reader Placement

Make sure the reader is within range of the receiver (check mod documentation for range limits). If too far apart, the wireless signal won't transmit. Move one closer to the other and retry.
