Adjusting Light Intensity and Glow in Your World
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated key (usually found in your controls menu under shader settings). This opens the configuration panel where all visual parameters are stored.
Modify Ambient Light Levels
Locate the ambient light or global brightness slider. Increasing this value brightens cave interiors and nighttime areas uniformly across your world. Decreasing it creates more contrast between lit and shadowed regions. Start with small adjustments—even 5–10% changes noticeably affect mood and visibility.
Fine-Tune Sunlight Warmth
Find the sunlight color or warmth control. Zepholume's default warm tone can be shifted cooler for a more neutral look, or intensified for golden-hour aesthetics. This affects how blocks are tinted during day and sunset.
Test Your Changes
Walk through different environments—caves, forests, and water areas—to see how adjustments feel in context. Changes apply in real-time, so you can tweak and preview without reloading. Save your preferred settings once satisfied; they persist across sessions.
