Find the Best Ambush Spots
Explore the Full Map
Walk through every section of the arena to understand the layout. Look for areas with natural cover like rocks, trees, or structures. Note which paths are narrow and which are wide open—this affects how easily opponents can spot you.
Identify High Ground
Climb to elevated positions and check sight lines. High ground gives you an advantage when opponents approach from below. Look for ledges, hills, or rooftops where you can perch and watch multiple paths at once.
Scout Chokepoints
Find narrow passages where players must funnel through. These are ideal ambush locations because opponents have fewer escape routes.
Test Your Hiding Spots
Once you've found a potential ambush location, have a friend walk the map and try to spot you. If they pass without noticing, you've found a good hiding spot. Mark these mentally for future matches.
Practice Timing
Ambushing isn't just about location—it's about patience. Avoid attacking too early and giving away your position.
