Enhance Water Reflections and Clarity
Locate Water Settings
Open shader options and find the water or reflection section. This controls how water surfaces interact with light and reflect the environment.
Adjust Reflection Intensity
Increase reflection strength to make water mirror more of the sky, terrain, and blocks around it. Higher values create more dramatic, glossy water surfaces. Decrease if reflections feel unrealistic or distracting.
Fine-Tune Water Transparency
Look for water clarity or fog density controls. Reducing underwater fog makes deep water more transparent, while increasing it creates a more realistic murky effect in deep oceans or caves. Adjust based on your preferred aesthetic.
Test in Different Environments
Visit oceans, rivers, and rain to see how your settings affect water appearance. Reflections should feel smooth and responsive to time of day. If water looks too shiny or plastic-like, reduce reflection values slightly for a more natural appearance.
