Customize Bloom and Light Glow Effects
Open Bloom Settings
Access shader options and navigate to the bloom or glow section. This controls how bright light sources (sun, lava, torches, glowstone) create a soft halo effect.
Adjust Bloom Intensity
Increase bloom strength to make light sources glow more prominently and spread their light further. This creates a warm, cinematic feel. Decrease bloom if it feels overwhelming or washes out details.
Control Bloom Radius
The bloom spread or radius determines how far the glow extends from bright objects. Wider radius creates softer, more diffuse light; narrower radius keeps glow concentrated near the source.
Optimize for Time of Day
Bloom effects are most noticeable during sunset and night when contrast is high. Test your settings during these times to ensure the effect feels balanced. Sunrise and midday may show less dramatic bloom due to natural brightness. Adjust until the overall lighting feels warm and inviting without obscuring visibility.
