How the Ore Borders Work

This pack adds bright, colorful borders around all ore blocks, making them stand out instantly in dark caves. Each ore type gets its own distinct color, so you can identify what you're looking at without stopping to examine it closely.

Finding Ores Efficiently

1. Enter a cave or mine and let your eyes adjust to the pack's lighting

2. Look for the colored borders around stone blocks—these mark ore locations

3. Mine strategically by targeting high-value ores first (diamonds, emeralds, gold)

4. Use the borders as a guide when exploring new tunnels; you'll spot resources before you would normally

The borders work in all lighting conditions, including complete darkness. This is especially useful when strip mining or exploring deep caves where ore visibility is normally poor.

Pro Tip

Combine ore spotting with the pack's clearer water vision if you're mining near underground lakes. You'll be able to see ore through water without the usual murky texture interference.
