Crafting Iron, Gold, and Diamond Yoyos

Upgrade Path

Once you have a Wooden Yoyo and a supply of Cord, you can climb the metal tiers. Each tier follows the same shaped-recipe logic: Cord plus the tier material produces that tier's yoyo. The order of value is Iron Yoyo, then Gold Yoyo, then Diamond Yoyo.

Iron Yoyo

Combine Cord with iron ingots in a shaped recipe to get the Iron Yoyo. This is your first real damage upgrade over the Wooden Yoyo and the one worth carrying once you have a steady iron supply from mining or a farm.

Gold Yoyo

Combine Cord with gold ingots to produce the Gold Yoyo. Gold is softer than iron in most contexts, so treat the Gold Yoyo as a sidegrade rather than a strict upgrade — build it when you have spare gold and want a second yoyo on hand.

Diamond Yoyo

Combine Cord with diamonds to craft the Diamond Yoyo. This is the top of the metal line and the yoyo to bring to serious fights. Diamonds are expensive, so craft the Cord first and confirm you have the full diamond cost before starting the recipe.

Practical Tip

Keep spare Cord in your inventory. Every tier consumes Cord, so running out mid-craft is the most common reason a yoyo recipe fails.
