Prevent Players from Using Offhand Items

Offhand Slot Detection

You Cant Have That Plugin monitors the offhand slot in real time. If a player tries to hold a blocked item in their offhand (the secondary hand slot used for shields, torches, or other items), the mod detects it immediately and prevents the action. This ensures players can't bypass main-hand restrictions by switching items to their offhand.

How It Works

When a player attempts to place a blocked item in their offhand slot, the mod stops the action before it completes. The item stays in their inventory or drops to the ground depending on the situation. This check happens instantly without noticeable lag, even on servers with many players.

Configuration

Offhand detection is typically enabled by default in You Cant Have That Plugin. If you want to allow offhand use for specific items while blocking them elsewhere, check your configuration file for offhand-specific settings. Some setups let you create exceptions or separate rules for different item slots.
