Adding Items to the Blocklist

You Cant Have That Plugin works by maintaining a list of items and blocks you want to prevent players from obtaining or using. Access your mod's configuration file and locate the blocklist section. Add the internal names of items or blocks you want to restrict—for example, if you want to prevent players from using a particular ore or crafted tool, add its identifier to the list.

What Gets Blocked

Once an item is on the blocklist, players cannot:

• Pick it up from the ground
• Break blocks that would drop it
• Place restricted blocks
• Hold it in their main hand or offhand

If a player tries to pick up a blocked item, it simply won't enter their inventory. If they already have one (from before the restriction), the mod will detect it during inventory scans or when they try to use it.

Testing Your Settings

After updating the blocklist, restart your server or reload the mod's configuration. Join in creative mode and try to obtain a blocked item to confirm it's working. The mod runs checks only when players interact with items, so performance remains smooth even with a long blocklist.
