Finding Hidden Player Bases Underground

Prepare Your View

Equip the resource pack and load into your world. Natural terrain blocks like dirt, stone, and gravel will become invisible, leaving only player-made structures visible. This makes spotting bases built deep underground much easier.

Search Systematically

Fly or travel to areas where you suspect bases might be hidden. Look for:

• Artificial block patterns — stairs, doors, chests, and crafting tables stand out immediately
• Geometric shapes — natural caves are chaotic; bases have straight walls and organized layouts
• Lighting — torches and lamps become obvious markers underground

Mark Your Findings

When you spot a structure, use waypoints or place temporary markers to remember the location. The pack removes natural blocks but keeps your own placed blocks visible, so you can navigate back easily.

Tips

Bases built with natural blocks (wood, stone variants) blend in more than those using distinct materials like concrete or metal blocks. Adjust your camera angle to see through overlapping structures. If you're searching a large area, divide it into sections to avoid missing anything.
