Connecting Networks Wirelessly with the Wireless Router and Antenna

Build the Antenna

The wireless link is built from an Antenna Base, an Antenna, and an Antenna Dish. Place the Antenna Base first, then attach the Antenna to it, and add the Antenna Dish to complete the structure. This assembled antenna is what carries the wireless signal.

Add the Wireless Router

Place a Wireless Router and connect it to your network with cable — Blue Network Cable, Green Network Cable, Red Network Cable, Yellow Network Cable, or Routing Network Cable, matching the color of the network you are extending. The Wireless Router joins that colored network to the antenna so signals can travel without a physical cable run.

Link Two Locations

Set up an antenna and Wireless Router at each end. With both ends powered by their own Controller and cabled network, the Wireless Router pair bridges the two networks across the distance, so Connectors at the far end are reachable from the near Controller. Keep the cable color consistent at each end so the Controller recognizes the Connectors on the far side.

Covering Exposed Cable

Where cable runs are visible, place a Facade over them to hide the cabling while keeping the network intact. Facades cover cable without breaking the connection, so you can route cable through walls and floors and still keep the build clean.
