Master Bow Combat with Active Animations

Equip a Modded Bow

Obtain a bow from Too Many Bows or another supported mod. Standard bows and specialty bows now have active combat animations through this data pack.

Draw and Fire in Combat Mode

Enter combat mode and equip your bow. Draw an arrow as normal, but you'll notice custom draw animations and firing sequences. The bow will perform specialized attack patterns instead of the default Minecraft bow behavior.

Chain Shots Together

Successive shots in quick succession trigger combo animations. Rapid-fire sequences feel more dynamic with visual trails and movement effects tied to your bow type. Heavy bows may have slower, more powerful animations, while lighter bows enable faster attack chains.

Combine with Arrow Types

Different arrow types work with the animations—use standard arrows, special arrows from your mods, or enchanted variants. The data pack's animations layer on top of whatever arrows you're firing, creating a unified combat experience whether you're using basic or exotic ammunition.
