Enable Combat Animations for Your Modded Weapons

Load the Data Pack

Place the data pack into your world's datapacks folder, or use a pack loader to load it globally before launching your world. You'll need Epic Fight and its required combat engine addons already installed.

Activate Combat Mode

Once in-world, equip any supported modded weapon—swords, daggers, maces, or bows from the compatible content mods. Press the key to enter combat mode (default is often a toggle key in Epic Fight). Your weapon will now display custom attack animations and combo movesets instead of the default Minecraft swing.

Verify Animations Are Working

Perform basic attacks and combos. You should see specialized swings, visual trails, and multi-hit sequences unique to that weapon type. If animations don't appear, check that:

  • The data pack is enabled (use /datapack list)
  • Your weapon is from a supported mod
  • Combat mode is properly activated
  • All Epic Fight dependencies are loaded

Different weapon types—heavy maces, spellbooks, and bows—will have distinct animation styles matching their combat role.
