Pie Shell First

Every pie starts with Pie Shell. Craft Pie Shell from Dough before you begin. Without a shell, your fillings have nothing to hold them.

Once you have Pie Shell, combine it with the appropriate filling to produce Apple Pie, Bacon Pie, Cheese Pie, Chicken Pot Pie, Fish Pie, Chocolate Pie and Golden Apple Pie. Each pie uses its named ingredient as the core filling.

Choosing Your Filling

Apple Pie and Golden Apple Pie use apples. Bacon Pie, Chicken Pot Pie and Fish Pie use their respective cooked or raw proteins. Cheese Pie uses Cheese. Chocolate Pie uses Chocolate.

Bake pies in batches. Pie Shell is the shared bottleneck, so craft several at once before assembling fillings. Store finished pies in a chest near your eating area. Golden Apple Pie is the most resource-heavy, so reserve it for when you have spare Golden Apples rather than routine baking.
