How to Build with Black, Cyan, and Blue Tiles

Crafting the Tile Blocks

Black Tiles, Cyan Tiles, and Blue Tiles are decorative tile blocks for floors and feature walls. Each tile block has a matching Black Tile Slab, Black Tile Stairs, Cyan Tile Slab, Cyan Tile Stairs, Blue Tile Slab, and Blue Tile Stairs. Craft the full tile block first, then cut it into slabs and stairs using the standard slab and stair recipes. Keep a stack of each full tile block on hand so you can produce slabs and stairs as the build demands.

Laying Out a Tiled Room

Tiles read best when used as a continuous surface. Cover the floor with full tiles, then ring the edges with the matching slab to step down to the wall. Use the stairs at corners and along any raised platform. Because Black, Cyan, and Blue tiles share the same shape family, you can band them in stripes or checker them without breaking the geometry. For a tiled bathroom or kitchen look, run Cyan Tiles along the lower wall and Black Tiles on the floor, then cap the wall with Cyan Tile Slab. Copper Tiles, Copper Tile Slab, and Copper Tile Stairs follow the same pattern if you want a warmer metal accent between the colored sections.
