Improving Visibility During PvP Combat
Maximize Contrast with Shadows
Xelvora Shaders' clean vanilla aesthetic works well for PvP because shadows create depth without visual noise. In Shader Options, ensure shadow quality is set high enough to distinguish player silhouettes against terrain. Crisp shadows help you track opponent movement.
Adjust Brightness and Gamma
If caves or shaded areas feel too dark during combat, increase gamma slightly through Video Settings. Xelvora maintains readability at higher gamma values without washing out the shader's shadow effects.
Reduce Particle Clutter
Lower particle settings in your main Video Settings menu. Fewer visual effects mean less distraction during fights. Xelvora's minimalist design complements this—you'll see enemy players and projectiles clearly without competing visual noise.
Test in Combat Scenarios
Practice in a test arena with varied lighting: open sky, under trees, inside buildings. Confirm that you can spot opponents quickly and that shadows don't obscure critical details. Adjust shadow distance if certain areas feel too dark or too bright relative to your PvP needs.
