Configure Real-Time Schedule Information on Boards
How PIDS Displays Pull Data
The World PIDS Pack uses JavaScript rendering to fetch arrival and departure information directly from your MTR 4 route configuration. The display updates automatically as trains move through your network.
Setting Up Route Data
1. Create or edit your transit route in MTR 4's route editor.
2. Define station stops with accurate names and platform assignments. The PIDS display will show these platform numbers.
3. Set train schedules with departure times. The display calculates estimated arrival times based on route duration and current train position.
4. Assign destinations to each service. These appear on the board alongside timing information.
Display Behavior
Once linked to your route, the board shows:
- Next departing/arriving services
- Destination stations
- Platform numbers
- Estimated time or delay status
Updates occur in real-time as trains progress. If a train is delayed, compatible display styles will reflect this. Test your setup by running a train and observing the board update.
