How to Use the Injection Press and Dye System

Preparing the Injection Press

Place an Injection Press. This machine stamps plates and casings from dyes. You need a Plate Die and a Dye Casing Die to shape the output. Insert the die into the Injection Press before operation.

Making Dye Plates and Casings

Feed dye into the Injection Press. Use a Dye Liquifier to convert dye items into liquid dye, then pipe or bucket it into the press. The press produces Dye Plates and Dye Casings in the color of the dye used. For example, Red Dye Plate and Red Dye Casing come from red dye. Every color in the registry follows this pattern.

Using Pure Dye

Craft a Pure Dye Bucket to supply the Dye Liquifier with a concentrated dye source. This reduces the number of dye items you need to process. Place the Dye Liquifier next to the Injection Press and connect them with a Factory Connector or fluid pipe.

Applying Plates and Casings

Dye Plates and Dye Casings are used in further crafting recipes for Woot machines and decorative blocks. Check the recipe viewer for each plate or casing to see what it builds. Keep a stock of each color if you plan to craft multiple machine variants.
