Planning Your Wooled Boots Progression

The Full Chain

The mod gives you six boot items: Wooled Leather Boots, Wooled Golden Boots, Wooled Iron Boots, Wooled Diamond Boots, Wooled Chainmail Boots, and Wooled Netherite Boots. Five of them are made with shaped crafting recipes; the netherite pair is made with a smithing_transform recipe.

Crafting Tier by Tier

For the crafting recipes, the logic is consistent: take the plain boots of that tier and combine them with Wool at a crafting table in the shaped arrangement. That covers leather, gold, iron, diamond, and chainmail. Chainmail is worth noting because plain Chainmail Boots are hard to obtain normally, so plan around however you source them.

The Netherite Exception

Wooled Netherite Boots do not come from a crafting recipe. You take Wooled Diamond Boots and transform them at a smithing table using the required smithing ingredient and template. This is the only smithing step in the mod.

Suggested Order

1. Craft Wooled Leather Boots as your first pair.

2. Move up through gold, iron, and diamond as materials allow.

3. Craft Wooled Chainmail Boots separately if you have chainmail.

4. Finish by smithing your Wooled Diamond Boots into Wooled Netherite Boots.

Stocking Up

Keep a supply of Wool blocks and the plain boots for each tier you intend to make. Each shaped recipe consumes one block of wool, and the smithing step consumes its ingredient and template.
