How to Craft the Wizard Staff

The Wizard Staff is the core tool of the mod, and it is made at a crafting table using a shaped recipe.

Gathering the Materials

You need the components that go into the shaped Wizard Staff recipe. Collect the base materials first, then bring them to a crafting table. The Wizard Staff is a single crafted item, so once you have every ingredient in your inventory you can assemble it in one step.

Crafting Steps

1. Place a crafting table and open it.

2. Arrange the Wizard Staff ingredients in the shaped pattern shown by the recipe.

3. Take the finished Wizard Staff out of the result slot.

If the recipe does not appear, check that every ingredient is present and that the pattern matches exactly — shaped recipes require the correct relative positions of each item, not just the right quantities.

Using the Staff

Hold the Wizard Staff in your main hand. It is the item you will pair with the Wizard and Warlock armor sets while exploring. Keep it in your hotbar so you can switch to it quickly. The Nether Wizard Staff is a separate item in the registry, so if you are aiming for that variant, treat it as its own crafting goal rather than an upgrade applied to the basic Wizard Staff.
