How to Craft a Winter Hat in the Winter Overhaul Mod

Crafting the Hat

Every Winter Hat in the mod is made with a shaped crafting recipe. The four color variants are Cyan Winter Hat, Green Winter Hat, Red Winter Hat, and Yellow Winter Hat. Place the recipe ingredients in the crafting grid in the shape the recipe requires, then move the finished hat into your inventory.

If you only remember one thing: the color of the hat is decided by the color of the wool you use. Match the wool color to the hat name — cyan wool for the Cyan Winter Hat, green wool for the Green Winter Hat, red wool for the Red Winter Hat, and yellow wool for the Yellow Winter Hat. Keep the rest of the recipe shape identical across all four so you can swap colors without relearning the layout.

Before You Craft

Gather the wool first. Dye is only needed if you are starting from white wool and recoloring it yourself. Once you have the correct wool color, the hat itself is a single shaped craft.

Craft one hat per color if you want a matching set, or start with the color that matches your scarf. Hats and scarves share the same four colors, so a Red Winter Hat pairs with a Red Scarf.
