Understanding Wood Variants

Dreamcatchers come in six core wood types: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, and dark oak. You can change a placed dreamcatcher's appearance to any of these without crafting a new one.

How to Recolor

Locate your placed dreamcatcher and gather a log block of the wood type you want. Right-click the dreamcatcher while holding the log. The dreamcatcher's frame will instantly update to match that wood's appearance.

Persistence

Your custom wood choice is saved to the dreamcatcher. If you break and pick up the dreamcatcher, it will retain its selected wood texture when placed again. This allows you to experiment with different aesthetics throughout your base without losing your customization or the dreamcatcher's healing functionality.
