How to Craft Boats, Signs, and Other Wood Utility Items

Both Aspen Boat and Wisteria Boat are crafted from their matching planks. Make Aspen Planks from Aspen Wood, or Wisteria Planks from Wisteria Wood, then use the standard boat recipe shape with the planks. Keep a few spare planks so you can replace a boat if it breaks.

Signs and Small Fixtures

Signs follow the same logic for both wood types:

• Aspen Sign — Aspen Planks above a stick.
• Wisteria Sign — Wisteria Planks above a stick.

Craft sticks from the matching planks first. Buttons and pressure plates are the cheapest fixtures in each set: one plank makes a button, two planks side by side make a pressure plate. Use them on doors and gates so your build has working redstone-free entry points.

Doors, Trapdoors, Fences, and Gates

Each wood type has a full set: Aspen Door, Aspen Trapdoor, Aspen Fence, Aspen Fence Gate, and the same four for Wisteria. All are shaped recipes built from the matching planks and sticks. Craft doors and trapdoors in pairs so entrances match, and craft fences and gates together so your enclosure is consistent. If you are building a dock or boathouse, craft the boat last so you can place it directly on water once the structure is finished.
