Inspect 3D Plant Models Up Close

Finding the Best Viewing Angles

Wild Vanilla's custom geometry is designed to be observed from multiple angles. To see the full detail of 3D models, avoid looking straight down at plants—instead, crouch and view them from the side or at a slight upward angle. This reveals the dimensional depth that flat textures would hide.

Where to Look

Start in plains and meadow biomes to examine flowers like allium, azure bluet, cornflower, and dandelion. Each flower has multiple visual variants, so break and replace the same flower type several times to see different shapes render in the same location.

Visit lush caves to watch big dripleaf blocks respond to your presence. Stand on them to trigger their tilting animation in full 3D—the geometry shifts noticeably as the plant reacts.

Underground and Nether Exploration

Explore dark caves to observe eyeblossom plants in both open and closed stages. The dimensional changes between stages are most visible in low light.

Travel to the Nether to see crimson fungus and brown mushroom blocks with enhanced depth. These blocks benefit greatly from the 3D treatment and stand out against the flat terrain around them.

Saplings Before Growth

Place various saplings—cherry, acacia, birch, and dark oak—on dirt blocks and observe them before they grow into trees. The detailed branch geometry is only visible at sapling scale.
