Set Up a Weather Monitoring Station

Gather Your Instruments

Collect a thermometer, barometer, hygrometer, and weather radar. These specialized tools let you track atmospheric conditions in real time across your base or region.

Build Your Station

Place these instruments in an open area with clear sky exposure—avoid placing them under roofs or dense tree cover, as they won't read accurate conditions. Arrange them in a visible cluster so you can check readings at a glance.

Install a weather vane nearby to see wind direction visually. An anemometer will show wind speed. Both help you predict incoming weather fronts before they arrive.

Read the Forecast

The mod generates a seven-day forecast foundation that guides regional weather. Check your weather radar regularly to spot developing storm systems. Temperature readings help you prepare for extreme cold or heat. Humidity and pressure changes often signal storms or clear spells coming within hours.

Upgrade Over Time

As you progress, return to your station to monitor long-term patterns. This helps you plan farming, mining, and travel around dangerous weather windows.
