Install Storm Shields

Place storm shield blocks around vulnerable areas—your farm, livestock pens, or wooden structures. These utility blocks reduce or prevent damage from high-intensity storms, including wind and rain effects.

Add a Storm Siren

Position a storm siren at your base as an early warning system. It alerts you when dangerous conditions approach, giving you time to move animals indoors or secure loose items.

Reinforce Structures

Build important buildings with solid materials like stone or metal rather than wood in storm-prone biomes. The mod's realistic wind and cloud systems mean severe weather can strike any region, so preparation is worthwhile everywhere.

Monitor Forecasts

Check your seven-day forecast regularly. If multiple storms are predicted, reinforce defenses preemptively.
