Craft the Hand of Fate

The Hand of Fate is a block added by the Whisperwoods Mod. It is produced with a shaped crafting recipe at a crafting table. Arrange the required ingredients in the correct pattern in the crafting grid to obtain one Hand of Fate block.

Place the Hand of Fate

Once you have the Hand of Fate in your inventory, select it and right-click a solid block face to place it. It behaves as a normal placeable block. Mine it to retrieve it.

Pair It With Wisp Lanterns

The Hand of Fate fits naturally into builds that use the mod's lantern blocks. The available lanterns are the Electric Blue Wisp Lantern, the Fiery Orange Wisp Lantern, the Golden Wisp Lantern, the Magic Purple Wisp Lantern, and the Toxic Green Wisp Lantern. Each lantern is crafted with its own shaped recipe. Because the Hand of Fate and every lantern use the crafting_shaped recipe type, you can craft them all at the same crafting table without needing a special station.

Plan a Build

Decide which lantern colors you want around the Hand of Fate, craft each one, then place them together. For example, place the Hand of Fate as a centerpiece and surround it with Golden Wisp Lanterns, or mix Electric Blue and Magic Purple Wisp Lanterns for contrast. Break and reposition any block freely until the layout looks right.
