Create Your First Protected Region Using the GUI

Opening the Region Menu

Right-click in the air while holding the designated tool item (usually a wooden axe or similar), or use the command to open the WG GUI menu. You'll see an inventory screen with options for region management.

Setting Up a New Region

1. Select Create Region from the main menu

2. Choose a region name (keep it simple, no spaces)

3. Select your region shape—most commonly a rectangular area

4. Use the positioning tool to mark two opposite corners of your protected zone by left-clicking and right-clicking at each corner

5. Confirm the corners are correct in the preview

6. Choose a region template if available (templates come pre-configured with common rules)

7. Click Confirm to create the region

What Happens Next

Your region is now protected. Only you and players you add as members can build inside. The plugin will show you the region boundaries with particles or visual indicators. You can now adjust specific rules like PvP settings, mob spawning, or fire spread by opening the region settings menu.
