Using Braziers, Lanterns and Colored Light Blocks

Brazier variants

Braziers are the main standing light source in this set. The base is Dark Stone Brazier. Colored versions are Blue Dark Stone Brazier, Green Dark Stone Brazier, Blue Stone Brazier and Green Stone Brazier. Place one brazier per room corner or line them along a hall for even light.

Craft the dark stone brazier first, then the colored variants using the matching color materials. The stone brazier versions use the lighter stone base instead of dark stone, so pick based on whether your walls are dark or light.

Lanterns

Dim Lantern and Dim Soul Lantern are the hanging light blocks. Hang them from ceilings in corridors where a full brazier would block movement. The soul variant gives a cooler tone; use it in crypts and bone rooms, and the regular dim lantern in brick rooms.

Colored stone accents

Blue Polished Andesite and Chiseled Icy Polished Andesite pair with the blue braziers. Chiseled Polished Andesite, Chiseled Andesite Pillar and Chiseled Ice Andesite Pillar give you matching columns. Andesite Bricks with Andesite Brick Slab, Andesite Brick Stairs and Andesite Brick Wall complete the andesite family, and Cracked Andesite Bricks add wear.

Lighting plan

1. Braziers at room corners and doorways.

2. Dim Lanterns or Dim Soul Lanterns down long halls.

3. Colored braziers to mark side rooms — blue for one branch, green for another.

4. Andesite brick walls behind blue braziers so the color reads clearly.
