How to Craft and Place Candles, Candlesticks and Chandeliers

Basic light sources

Start with Candle and Candlestick. Both are made through crafting recipes using wax-related items, so gather Candle Wax Chunks first and process them into Candle Wax Block and Candle Wax Layer as needed. A Candle is a single small light; a Candlestick is the taller stand version. Place them on solid floors and walls to light corridors without taking a full block of space.

For larger rooms, craft a Chandelier and hang it from a ceiling. For a floor-level cluster, use Floor Candles or Black Floor Candles. If you want a colored variant, Black Candle Wax Chunks feed into the black candle family.

Decorative and special candles

Diamond Candle and Diamond Candlestick are the high-end variants. They use the same candle/candlestick shapes but require diamond-tier materials in the recipe. Use them as focal points in treasure rooms.

Candle Bomb is a separate craftable item — treat it as a thrown or placed effect rather than a light source. Keep it away from your storage area.

To build wax decoration, place Candle Wax Block as a full block, Candle Wax Chunks as a partial cluster, and Candle Wax Layer as a thin floor layer. These stack visually with candles and candlesticks, so combine them for melted-wax rooms.

• Chandeliers on ceilings of tall halls.
