Crafting Bone Walls, Arches and Skull Decorations

Bone wall basics

Start with Bone Wall as your standard bone partition. From there, craft Chiseled Bone Wall for a patterned version and Aligned Bone Wall for a straight, uniform look. These are wall-shaped blocks, so place them as thin dividers rather than full walls.

To build a doorway or gate, use Bone Arch above the opening. Place two vertical bone wall columns and cap them with the arch to frame a passage.

Skull features

Bone Wall With Skull is the decorated variant — use it sparingly along a wall so the skulls read as accents. For a full display, craft Block Of Skulls and set it as a floor or pillar block. Haunted Bookshelf Skull combines shelving and a skull for library or crypt rooms.

Bone room layout

1. Line the room with Bone Wall.

2. Replace every fourth block with Chiseled Bone Wall or Aligned Bone Wall.

3. Place Bone Wall With Skull at eye level near entrances.

4. Cap doorways with Bone Arch.

5. Set Block Of Skulls as a central altar or corner piece.

Pairing with other sets

Bone blocks read best against dark stone. Combine them with Dark Bricks, Chiseled Dark Bricks and Cracked Dark Bricks for crypt walls, and use Black Floor Candles or Candle blocks for light. Haunted Bookshelf and Haunted Candles Bookshelf fill the wall space between bone columns without breaking the theme.
