Using the Stone Altar

What the Altar Does

The Stone Altar is the ritual block for werewolf content. It handles curing, upgrades, and other transformations. Every serious werewolf player needs one.

Building It

Craft a Stone Altar and place it on the ground. Place a Stone Altar Fire Bowl on top. The fire bowl is the active part; without it the altar cannot perform rituals.

Ritual Ingredients

Common offerings include Wolfsbane, Werewolf Tooth, Silver Ingot, and Moon Charm. Some rituals also use a Charm Bracelet or Bone Necklace. Place the correct items on or around the altar before lighting it.

Lighting the Fire Bowl

Use a flint and steel on the Stone Altar Fire Bowl to ignite it. The ritual consumes the items and produces its result. If nothing happens, check that you have the exact items required and that the fire bowl is lit.

Common Rituals

Curing lycanthropy uses Wolfsbane and a Werewolf Tooth. Upgrading a Moon Charm uses the charm plus a Moon Charm Upgrade. The Special Moon Charm Upgrade and Enhanced Moon Charm Upgrade are higher-tier versions of the same idea.

Tips

Keep a chest of ritual ingredients next to your altar. Wolfsbane is the most-used item, so farm it in bulk. Silver Ingots come from Silver Ore and are needed for several altar recipes.
