How to Cure Lycanthropy

The Goal

Curing lycanthropy removes the werewolf curse and returns you to a normal human permanently. The process involves the Stone Altar and specific ingredients.

Building the Altar

Craft a Stone Altar and place it. Add a Stone Altar Fire Bowl on top to complete the ritual structure. The altar is the center of all werewolf-related rituals, including curing.

Gathering Ingredients

You will need Wolfsbane, a Werewolf Tooth, and other ritual components. Wolfsbane grows from Wolfsbane seeds and can be found with a Wolfsbane Finder. Werewolf Teeth drop from defeated werewolves. A Charm Bracelet and Bone Necklace are also associated with werewolf rituals and may be required.

Performing the Ritual

Place the required items on the altar and light the fire bowl. The exact combination depends on your progression, but the core is Wolfsbane plus a Werewolf Tooth. Once the ritual completes, your infection is removed.

After the Cure

You lose all werewolf levels and abilities. Your Moon Charm and related items become inert. If you want to become a werewolf again later, you must be infected anew. Keep your Wolfsbane supply if you plan to help other players cure themselves.
